Description
Excerpt: Sixty people from government, industry and local environmental groups met to examine existing monitoring activities within the Lake Superior basin, with a view to developing a coordinated, long-term monitoring program. This co-ordinated program would incorporate Lake Superior Binational Program’s indicators. The workshop represented the first time that monitoring data and indicators were considered at this scale of ecosystem organization for Lake Superior.
